Revere & Wollensak

This list is not complete. I'm doing my best to try to list as many Revere and Wollensak reel-to-reel machines as I can find. Info comes from several sources (see Notes) which explains why I sometimes have data (like frequency response) and sometimes not.

Wollensak data mostly come from a very nice write-up (see Sources at bottom page), but there is no version for Revere, so I'm having a tougher time collating information.

According to the Wollensak Guide (see Sources at bottom of page), the original Wollensak 1500 was based on the Revere machine, but optimized for a portable cabinet with a bare-aluminum finish, as opposed to the more traditional cases of the Reveres. The same source says that Revere and Wollensak machines were made in the same factory, but that they were made by diifferent staffs and they were very competitive against each other.
